Ching Luh Group was established in 1969 by our founder, Mr. Su Ching Luh. Since it’s founding almost 50 years ago, Ching Luh has established itself as one of the leading sports footwear manufacturers in the world with manufacturing locations in China, Vietnam and Indonesia.

Today, Ching Luh works with some of the world’s leading sports brands including adidas, FootJoy, Mizuno, Nike, and Reebok, all of whom count on Ching Luh’s capabilities and expertise to deliver the world’s best footwear.

Our History

1969

Ching Luh was established in Tainan, Taiwan by our Founder, Mr. Su Ching Luh to satisfy the demand for PVC shoes, and to produce footwear for athletic brands including Puma and Brooks.

1974

Ching Luh enters into a partnership with famed Japanese sporting goods brand Mizuno to produce high performance footwear.

That same year, Ching Luh starts production of footwear for FootJoy.

1988

1989

Ching Luh starts production of footwear for Reebok.

Ching Luh expands its horizons and invests in new manufacturing facilities strategically located in Fujian Province, China.

1993

Ching Luh begins production of footwear for adidas.

2004

2007

Ching Luh builds new production facilities in Long An Province, Vietnam and enters into a new partnership with Nike.

Ching Luh builds production facilities near Tangerang, Banten Province, Indonesia, and begins production of footwear for adidas and Reebok.

2010

2012

2015

Ching Luh builds its second factory in Indonesia — the first of its kind to gain LEED certification in the country — and begins production for Nike.

To continually provide diversification to our customer, Ching Luh built the first facility in Vietnam and for adidas and Reebok.

Opens new Taiwan headquarters in Tainan city to provide more convenient and rapid support to expatriates and overseas facilities.

Our Business Philosophy

In 1986, our Chairman Mr. Su Ching Luh established a philosophy to guide Ching Luh in pursuit of our mission. This philosophy is called “Make It Right” and it emphasises sustainability, quality, the environment, talent cultivation and corporate responsibility, and it informs all aspects of our business.
